Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is seeking an Instructor at our Boca Campus in Boca Raton, FL. The expected teaching load is four courses per semester. There is the potential for a summer teaching assignment as well which would be additional compensation. This expected teaching load will be clinical and/or didactic courses and includes supervising students at clinical sites for the College of Nursing, Boca Raton Campus.

We offer four-degree programs (BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD) with curricula that are unique and caring-based.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates for this position should have a minimum of a MSN, or doctorate from an accredited institution in nursing (PhD, DNS, or DNP) or a related field at time of application.

The applicant must have at least one graduate degree in Nursing.

Must be eligible for RN licensure in the state of Florida.

Graduate education/experience in a focused area of practice is preferred.

Medical/surgical or community experience preferred.

A minimum of three years’ related work experience is needed to be considered.

Salary:

$65,000-$70,000 per year.
