We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Cardiology Wellness Center at the Plaza 

Shift Details:

This is a Monday through Friday day shift position.

No nights, No weekends 

The Work:

• Assist Medical Assistants when needed with EKGs, Rooming Patients, Monitor Patches and Rhythm Monitors. 
• Assist RNs within scope of practice with walk-in visits and other responsibilities.  
• Answer calls from internal staff, pharmacies, external healthcare providers, and patients. 
• Review normal lab results with patients. 
• Process refill requests. 
• Address patient questions, complaints, and/or concerns. 
• FMLA paperwork and other administrative responsibilities. 
• Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.  
• Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assist with procedures, cleaning wounds, dressing changes.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as autonomously. 
• Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. 
•  We are seeking an experienced LPN with cardiac knowledge who is willing to learn. This is a task-oriented position that requires strong customer service, communication, and multi-tasking skills.
