What You Will Do:

  • You will support the development of highly integrated systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools. Support MBSE process improvement activities.
  • You will support development of system requirements and models.
  • You will support requirements validation and implementation verification.
  • You will assist in performing analyses using physics-based models.
  • You will contribute to our work by participate in hands-on system lab integration, verification, and troubleshooting.

What You Will Learn:

  • You will learn application of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) processes and methods to solve complex problems.
  • You will learn logical and systematic conversion of system requirements into system design solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • You will learn to the use of physics-based models to support requirements development, assessment of system performance, and root-cause investigations.
  • You will learn to use practical application of systems engineering processes such as planning, system development, requirements validation, implementation verification, configuration management, process assurance, etc.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience creating SysML models using tools such as Cameo and/or Rhapsody.
  • Experience modeling control systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience scripting in Python.
  • Completed college-level courses in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, control of dynamic systems, and/or model-based systems engineering.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
