RESPONSIBILITIES
The RWE Intern is responsible for providing support on the routine work of RWE (sometime HEOR work) including assets across multiple therapeutic areas (TAs): Oncology, GI, and rare diseases from early development to post-launch time frame. The position is part of China Medical Affairs.
The Intern will primarily:
- Support RWE (senior) managers to develop China integrated evidence generation plan (IEP) for Takeda assets.
- Technically support on real-world study design, protocol development, result interpretation, and review of study reports and publications.
- With good understanding of real-world database landscape in China, provide recommendations and support of new appropriate data sources.
- Engage with local stakeholders (e.g., KOLs, HCPs, Payers, etc.) to drive understanding of China evidence generation needs and collaborate on studies where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Level of Education
- Majored in (Pharmaco)Epidemiology, (Bio)Statistics, Health Outcomes, or Public Health
- Master’s degree (OR candidate) required; PhD, MD, or PharmD degree (OR candidate) preferred. Oversea experience is a plus.
Professional Knowledge and Skills
- Learning agility and resilience in action.
- Familiar with non-interventional/observational study.
- With knowledge on epidemiology and biostatistics.
- With skills on EXCEL, PowerPoint and Outlooks.
- Familiar with internal and external real-world databases.
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Chinese.
