The manufacturing site located in Woodlands, is one of the key biologics manufacturing sites in Takeda’s Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) network. The Site is dedicated to improving our ability to serve patients and deliver the GMS Value Proposition through a commitment to excellence, focused on: Agile, Connected, Performance, Innovation and People.
In this role, the Process Engineering Intern will partner with various key stakeholders in the Takeda organization to perform sitewide Process Engineering responsibilities.

The key responsibilities of the Process Engineering Intern include:
- Assist in conducting investigation to identify the root cause for process equipment related deviations by utilizing systematic failure analysis techniques.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions arising from Deviations.
- Assist in raising Change Control for the implementation of changes to equipments.
- Participate in process engineering related projects to support vendor turnover package review, protocol drafting and execution etc.,
- Participate in Troubleshooting of process equipment’s together with Process engineers and Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions.
- Assist in drafting/revising standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor to ensure Continuous Improvement in the Site’s EHS Management System
Requirements:
- Keen interest to work in a biopharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft 365 applications
- Detail-oriented and proactive towards job responsibilities
- Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
