Nursery Chef

Nuffield Health Cottingley Manor Gym | Part Time | Permanent

1.30pm - 5.30pm Monday to Friday

£24,980.80 per annum (Pro Rata)

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about fresh ingredients, cleanliness and customer service to take full responsibility for our club’s kitchen area. You’ll bring lots of care and attention to keep quality high, in everything you do. Here’s where an exceptional customer experience starts with you.

As a Nursery Chef/ House Keeper at our Cottingley nursery it’s important that you bring a strong background in food production and development. As well as a flair for managing and handling fresh produce, you also have great organisation skills. And ideally, you’ll bring an NVQ in food production or similar.

As a Nursery Chef/House Keeper, you will:

• Promote a friendly, relaxing and professional atmosphere

• Have an engaging way with people, team, children and their families

• Make sure people enjoy an exceptional first impression, with excellent and efficient service

• Train and ensure your team produce healthy, nutritional food and drink using fresh ingredients

• Achieve and maintain budget levels, costs and gross percentages

• Provide nutritional snacks and meals. Sharing menu's and recipes for the nursery children to enjoy at home.

• Lead short cookery session with the nursery children

• Support the nursery team with maintaining a clean environment

• Take full accountability for the club's main kitchen ensuring that high levels of health and safety standards are met.
