Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

In coordination with the IMS Engineer and ALSIG operations team, the IMS Intern will assist with developing, implementing and/or managing the Industrial Regulatory compliance process for the entity in accordance with the Group procedure and local regulations. The intern will also support any ad-hoc administrative tasks related to Safety.

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review Air Liquide’s group procedure (GP01) along with relevant local laws and regulation; stay up-to-date with any changes.

  • Create, update and maintain a master document list under all applicable domains to ensure compliance both per Group and local regulations.

  • In coordination with entity process owners, collate and organize all compliance documentation; evaluate the compliance status of the entity.

  • Maintain, validate and track the action plans established in case of non-compliance.

  • Communicate with entity process owners on compliance needs, requirements and changes.

  • Employ the Six-Sigma methodology (PDCA) for successful implementation of GP01 within the entity.

Qualifications & Experience: (list education, certifications, training, work experience, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering field (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial domain)

  • Prior internship experience in the domain of HSE or industrial management

  • Fluent in English and Arabic. French is a plus.

Skills and Competencies: (list technical & core skills, soft skills, behavioural competencies, etc.)

  • Knowledge and understanding of HSE and Industrial Management

  • Proficient in using Google Workspace 

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • Proactive with a self starter mindset
