Nurse Manager, Endoscopy
The Nurse Manager oversees the coordinator of staffing and patient care assignments. The nurse manager is responsible for developing staff members, rounding on patients, and collaborating with physicians. The manager is highly focused on excellence in patient care and extensively involved in performance improvment, safety, and quality metrics. This position has responsibility for budgetary oversight of the department including payroll, purchasing, and expenses.
The Baptist Health Louisville Endoscopy department features 10 treatment rooms and 30 pre- and post-operative procedure rooms. A high-tech endoscopic retrograde colangio pancreatography (ERCP) room is available. Nurses perform moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring.
Requirements:
RN currently licensed in Kentucky.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Specialty certification preferred.
Two to Four years recent leadership and clinical experience required.
BCLS / ACLS is/will be required.
