- Reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversees operations in the retail, patient services, or production area supporting the respective manager and Chef as needed.
- Supervise staff throughout their assigned shift. Assure quality, service excellence, and all appropriate policies and procedures.
- Meets the needs of guests and patients by assuring sufficient quantities of food and stock during periods of operations.
- Responsible for daily supervision of staff including, but not limited to staff schedules, cash handling, and training staff.
- A Supervisor at Holy Cross has resource monitoring and staffing responsibility for either a specific department function or for a certain shift and number of employees.
- Supervisors must have the ability to organize day-to-day work-flow and prioritize, adjust, and redistribute workload as necessary to assure that optimal service and resource use is achieved within the unit being supervised.JOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEW
- The supervisor has primary responsibility to ensure that departmental and organizational policies are consistently communicated and that practice within their area of responsibility is aligned with these expectations.
- The supervisor is also the primary management contact for staff concerns, and directly oversees the communication of organizational objectives to the staff.
- Communication skills and the ability to educate staff are important elements of this job.
What you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years experience in institutional food service including at least one year of food and nutrition supervisory experience preferred.
Pay Range: $21.74 - $30.44
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
