Permanent, Part time
24 hours per week

You’ll help us make health happen by:
Assessment and Treatment for minor injuries and medical conditions in conjunction with the on-site General Practitioner and where appropriate to liaise with them.
Assist the on-site first aid team and security team with first aid care and emergency care.
To provide immunizations and travel health advice
To contribute to the attendance at work of employees by identifying the most appropriate treatments for individuals, or onward referral where appropriate.
Women’s health – cervical screening, Bupa menopause plan
Sexual health screening
Stop Smoking assessment.
Able to use standard office equipment and general medical equipment e.g. Defibrillators,
To manage and maintain appropriate stock levels through various ordering systems.
Help to ensure a safe work environment.
Experience and knowledge:
Essential:
First level (Adult) RN
Post registration experience preferably in A&E or Primary Care.
Practice nurse qualification is essential.
Broad clinical skills (e.g. venepuncture, travel vaccination, female health, etc.)
Current Basic Life Support Certificate
Current Safeguarding Children and Adult Level 3
Desirable:
Previous experience in remote working
Previous experience in private practice
Nurse Prescriber
Key Skills:
Good communication (verbal & written).
Report writing skills.
Computer literate
Basic counselling/interpersonal skills.
Presentation skills.
