Scheduled Hours: Days, 8/10 hour shifts.Job Description:
A clinically competent, registered nurse who delivers specialized care to the patient in the health care continuum utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Effectively coordinates patient care with other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Capable of adapting to a changing environment. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. The nurse may work off site at client locations.
Qualifications:
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience
Prefer current health related experience within the past five (5) years
Prefer minimum of three (3) years experience in pertinent clinical specialty
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Current license as a registered nurse from the State of Iowa
Certified Breath Alcohol Tech
Certified Drug Screen Collector
Certified Spirometry Tech
Audiometry certification preferred
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
