PROCUREMENT STUDENT SUMMER WORK EXPERIENCE 2024/2025

We are seeking a 2nd or 3rd year supply chain/commerce undergrad to work in our Procurement department over Summer (October 2024 to mid-February 2025). 

The role will be partially project based and the student will split his/her time between some day-to-day activities along with procurement projects. He/she will be guided and supervised by the Senior Materials Manager and Senior Procurement Specialist.  The role will be mainly focused on:

• Assist with creation of POs
• Assist with management of overdue PO’s
• Contract management system implementation
• Review standard work for non-product procurement and document changes needed
• Sourcing projects for commodities
• Reviews of Procurement templates & other ad hoc items

Essential skills:

• Good analytical skills backed by strong Excel knowledge/capability
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and think outside the box
• Results focused and able to communicate well with a broad range of internal and external customers.
