Content Design Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled writer to join our dynamic Content and Conversation Design team as a Content Design Intern. As an intern, you will create and design the words that appear in our visual experiences. This is a writing-focused role. You will have the opportunity to learn about, contribute to, and lead various aspects of content design, including writing content, experience auditing, and end-to-end experience design. This role is designed to give you hands-on experience within a collaborative and innovative environment and build up your own content portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to content design initiatives, writing clear, accessible, and inclusive content for mobile-first experiences, with mentorship from a senior content designer.
- Assist in audits to assess effectiveness of existing written content.
- Learn and apply UX principles in content design projects.
- Partner with UX design and research interns on 12-week end-to-end experience design project.
- Ensure alignment with terminology and style standards, gaining familiarity with using and maintaining content style guides.
- Track and maintain multiple projects with varying deadlines and prioritization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support content creation efforts.
- Learn and apply health insurance industry terminology and trends.
- Participate in usability testing and provide insights for optimization.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
Excellent written communication skills.
Basic understanding of content design principles.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to healthcare-focused content projects in a fast-paced environment.
