About this role. 

As an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at our Orthopedic Care Clinic, you'll work with a team of 10 highly skilled providers that puts patients first! Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with primary care providers, other specialties, and excellent support staff! The practice provides full spectrum care that prides itself on high-quality patient experiences.

  • All travel, lodging, and medical malpractice expenses will be covered.
  • Spine Focused.
  • You would practice at our Orthopedic Care Clinic in Butte, Montana. 
  • This role will provide clinic and minor surgical services
    for 1.5 days every other week, with the potential to increase to
    weekly service depending on volume.
  • You would be joining a well-respected, established group of Orthopedic Surgery providers.
  • Extended program includes 4 experienced surgical APP's who provide support in the OR, hospital, and ambulatory clinic.
  • The clinic is conveniently located close to Intermountain Health: St. James Hospital providing easy access.
  • EPIC EMR utilization (system-wide).
  • Excellent opportunity for mentorship, leadership roles, program expansion, professional growth, and plenty of program support. Great team dynamic!
  • The hospital is a Level III Trauma Center and an accredited Chest Pain Center.

What you’ll bring. 

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine. 
  • Residency trained in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Spine
  • Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline.
  • Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process. 
  • Passion for Orthopedic Surgery.
