The Opportunity:
BJC/Saint Luke’s Health System is currently hiring a Retail Pharmacy Technician. This is a great on-the-job training opportunity for you to start your career in healthcare and start making a difference in patients’ lives.
Shift Details: PRN
Current business hours for the five (5) metro retail/outpatient pharmacy locations are 9am to 530pm Monday thru Friday. Individual will be scheduled in either a four (4) or eight (8) hour increment based upon staffing need for the business day.
Responsibilities:
Computer order entry, billing issue resolution, packaging, compounding, labeling, cashiering, delivering, inventory management, accounting, record maintenance and or staff training.
View Orignal JOB on: nursingjobs.sitePerforms all accountabilities allowable by state and federal regulations associated with preparation compounding dispensing charging and delivery of medications to a patient of the Outpatient Retail pharmacy.
We are seeking a customer focused professional with a passion for healthcare. To be successful, you must be detail oriented. This position will require you to work on your feet most of your shift and autonomously. Pharmacy Tech experience is preferred, but not required. Registering as a Pharmacy Technician with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy prior to start date is required.
