Additional Job Description:

• Supervising a team of Nurses and nursing staff to provide immediate, emergent and critical healthcare to patients in an emergency room setting.
• Providing guidance, leadership, and training to nursing staff
• Collaborating with Physicians to maintain skills, education and budget requirements to operate a 24/7 Emergency Department
• Designing and managing nursing schedules, assignments, training events, educational department requirements and tasks
• Administering budgets, monitoring resources and supplies, and other administrative duties
• Assisting in the selection, evaluation, and development of nursing staff
• Following regulatory guidelines and recommending steps to ensure patient and staff safety
