This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $5,500 and relocation assistance of up to $5,000! 

What You’ll Do

• Lead with Excellence: Schedule and supervise nursing staff, monitor performance, and manage employee relations to cultivate a cohesive and high-performing team.

• Drive Quality Care: Maintain and enhance the comprehensive care plan through collaboration with rehabilitation, social services, dietary, pharmacy, and other disciplines.
• Ensure Compliance: Oversee adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, promoting safety and minimizing healthcare-related injuries.
• Foster Staff Development: Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and continuous supervision to ensure all nursing staff perform at their best.
• Respond to Needs: Provide hands-on resident care as needed, including administering medications in the absence of regular staff.
• Stay Connected: Carry and respond as scheduled throughout the month
• Champion Improvement: Implement and manage quality assurance initiatives to evaluate and elevate operations and services.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Required).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• Experience:
  • 2+ years as an RN or LPN (Required).
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role (Preferred).
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the VA Department of Health Professions (Required upon hire).
