Leeds | Permanent | Full Time
Up to £31,750 per annum
37.5 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Angiography Nurse to join us in making our Interventional Suite a true centre of excellence. If you specialise in Angiography and Endovascular Interventions, there has never been a better time to join the team in Leeds. In addition to the roles of scrub nurse, the successful candidate will have opportunities to further their knowledge as a Pre-assessment nurse.

Here at Nuffield Health Hospital Leeds our Interventional Suite caters for disciplines such as Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Neuro-Vascular, Gynaecology and Pain Management.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist in delivering a high quality service; assisting and circulating in a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as Percutaneous Coronary Interventions, Cardiac Rhythm Management Procedures, Peripheral Vascular Interventions, Embolisation of Cerebral Aneurysm and Uterine Artery Embolisation.
As an IVS Staff Nurse you must:
Be registered with the NMC and have at least 2-year experience in a busy Angiography lab
Have competencies in Phlebotomy, Cannulation and Intravenous drug administration
Be BLS/ILS certified
Possess a vast knowledge in Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular and Neurovascular diseases and their treatment
Have a very good understanding of Radiation protection.
You will :
Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs
Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around in a close knit team headed by our Head of Cardiology
Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities
Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care
Be highly motivated and have an excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills
Have a flexible approach to working pattern is essential
