Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for design, simulation and implementation of RFIC building blocks for wireless connectivity applications especially in transmitters
  • Work with system team on architecture design and block specifications
  • Evaluate the design in the lab and support for the mass production
  • Be part of a growing analog/RFIC team, working on leading SoC chips for various Mobile and Internet of Things products
  • As part of the design and implementation process, be involved w/ system architecture to provide technical support and competitive solutions to new connectivity standards

  • Work on the state-of-the-art radio design in leading edge technologies and address some of the toughest specification requirements in power and performance

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
  • Strong knowledge on deep sub-micron CMOS technologies
  • Knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, SpectreRF
  • Knowledge of designing RF & Analog circuits such as PA, LNA, Mixer, RF VGA's, opamps
  • Knowledge of Transmitter & Power Amplifier architectures
  • Knowledge of Receiver & Low Noise Amplifier architectures
  • Ability to comprehend the RF transceiver's system level requirement and to translate it into circuit level specifications. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential
  • A thorough understanding of the physical layout requirement and ability to perform the critical layout
  • Good lab testing skills to bring up design, debug and evaluate prototype units

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:

$62,400 to $104,200 annually
