NXPs’ Wireless Connectivity team currently have job opening(s) in the following area(s):
2025 Summer Intern, wireless system team
As an intern for the wireless system engineering team, the candidate will participate in the research and development of advanced wireless technology.
The candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and development of advanced wireless LAN technologies
- Develop simulations using Matlab or C++ to verify the new features
- Work closely with the rest of system team or hardware design teams to analyze the data and brainstorm the enhancement for next generation products.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD or Master Candidate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Must understand the fundamentals of signal processing and digital communications
- Must understand the fundamentals of mmWave communications
- Must understand the fundamentals of wireless sensing
- Must be fluent in MATLAB, C/C++
- Desirable to be familiar with IEEE WLAN 802.11 standards
To be considered for a summer internship with NXP you must still be enrolled in university. If you graduate June 2025 or earlier you will not be eligible and should apply to Entry Level full time roles.
The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs.
