SUMMARY: Provides assistance to technologists with tasks necessary for the general management and organization of the department, being flexible meeting patient and/or department needs while ensuring all Radiology safety protocols are followed. Performs direct and indirect patient care as determined/delegated by a licensed technologist or nurse and facilitates the safe transport of patients to and from their respective units.

SCHEDULE: Days

ATTRIBUTES

• One year patient care experience preferred

• Basic Computer skills required

• Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stocks room appropriately while rotating supplies based on expiration dates, including Emergency response equipment

• Ensures that all regulatory logs are completed daily

• Uses team effort to accomplish room turnover within acceptable timeframes.  Primarily responsible for cleanliness and safety of environment for staff and patients.  

• Safely and efficiently transports patients to and from the department in a safe manner, according to hospital  standards. 

• Assists with ambulation, transferring or lifting of patients 

PAY SUMMARY:
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

H - Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires constant walking, standing or squatting.
