Provide nursing practice expertise, education, consultation, and research activities to ensure achievement of quality patient outcomes through leadership and advanced nursing knowledge/practice. This includes oversight of performance on nursing sensitive indicators in all practice sites as well as collaboration to design, implement, and evaluate the impact of evidence-based practice and research initiatives on patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum of five years of experience as a professional nurse with progressive leadership experience required.

· Master’s degree in healthcare related field

· Effective verbal and written communication skills including public speaking required.

· Knowledge of systems and change theory, change management tools and application, and evidence-based practice implementation required.

· Knowledge of financial processes, database management, and data analysis and interpretation required.

· Knowledge of national, regional, and local health care policies and societal forces affecting the delivery of health care required.

· Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

· Experience in applying principles of performance improvement to complex healthcare system processes required.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Green Belt or Black Belt training and/or certification preferred.

· Demonstrated knowledge and application of DMAIC and LEAN principles preferred

· Master’s degree in nursing preferred
