Voted no.1 Australian hospital by Medibank members 2 years in a row, The Congregation of Religious Sisters of Charity of Australia trading as St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney has an opportunity available for highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Day Surgical Unit team.
This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. You will join a team of highly motivated individuals with access to state of the art equipment, education support and professional development opportunities. The position is a Monday to Friday role, however at times, weekend work is available. This position will play a pivotal role in planning and delivering nursing care to patients in a surgical setting and work as part of the day surgical team. Participation in the on call roster may be required pending your skills and experience.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will be a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team and will have the opportunity to participate in all learning and development activities and be exposed to the latest surgical and medical approaches, new technologies and integrated methods of patient care.

Your skills and experience:
- Nurse with AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience.
- Compliance with NMBA Professional Standards.
- Compliance with the ANMAAC National Competency Standards.
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice.
- Excellent computer literacy and experience with electronic patient record system would be an advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent clinical care and continued professional development.
Remuneration:
St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney Nurses' EA Registered Nurse annualised salary of $91,200.16 - $101,507.10, based on experience level and relevant qualifications + salary packaging + superannuation, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
