Reporting to the Head of Distribution, Individual Insurance Sales, the External Guaranteed Insurance Products Wholesaler will be accountable for promoting all products within Guaranteed Insurance Product category as well as providing a solution-based method to selling. Success will be measured through the establishment of new sales and relationships as well as solidifying existing ones will also be key.
Position Responsibilities:
Achieve aggressive sales targets and annual production goals.
Identify and pursue new relationships within the Financial Advisor network - Provide new ideas to advisors to help them develop business
Work collaboratively with the internal wholesaler and regional coordinator to develop new sales
Develop effective and professional working relationships with other Manulife field partners including representatives from Manulife Insurance and Investments, Professional Services Team and key partners in all Business Units.
Maintain agreed upon levels of face to face contact with the Advisors in the region and record daily activities using the current contact management system.

Proactively handle relationships with key advisors and intermediaries - including but not limited to providing product training, case consultation, joint field work, sales proposal design and point of sale assistance as required.
Be a contact in providing assistance in the resolution of problem situations that may arise with the intermediaries and individuals within the region.
Develop and execute regular business development plans and conduct dynamic sales meetings & seminars to advisors and investors
Assist in developing and implementing strategies designed to provide “best of class” marketing support and new sales ideas and concepts to Advisors.
Perform front line business risk management function through awareness, support and implementation of compliance and company policies with advisors, including supervision of sales related activities.
Required Qualifications:
3 years Investment Sales experience with extensive and thorough knowledge of Financial Services industry and capital markets
Participation in the sale of Guaranteed Insurance Products through one or more of the following: MGA and IROC, Broker/Dealer network, Banks
In-depth knowledge of segregated funds, GIAs and Annuities
Successful completion of IFIC mutual funds course or CSC
Valid Drivers License and the ability to travel within assigned regions/territory (Northern Ontario to Manitoba)
