Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is hiring RN (Registered Nurse) in our eHospital Department.  

Up to $10,000 Sign On Bonus to qualified candidate successfully hired!

Position Overview

  • Part Time; 24 hours per week

  • Shift: Night Shift (7p - 7a)

  • Experience: 3 years of previous nursing experience required. Previous nursing leadership required. Ex: Charge Nurse. Preference is a candidate with previous ICU experience.

  • Education: BSN, ASN, or Diploma.

  • In this role you will be working in-house in the telemetry monitoring room monitoring telemetry rhythms, providing feedback and guidance, and working with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate plans of care.

Job Summary

The eHospital RN provides tele-nursing care to a diverse patient population of acutely ill patients, acting as an advocate, guide, and resource for the medical/surgical bedside RN's. The Registered Nurse develops, implements and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

BSN or MSN preferred. All Registered Nurses who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to successfully obtain their BSN within 5 years of hire.

Qualifications:

N-2YR - RN-Associate's Degree (Required), N-3YR - RN-Diploma (Non-degree) (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
