Computer Science Student Summer Work Experience 2024/2025

We are seeking a 2nd or 3rd year Computer Science undergrad to work in our Digital Team over Summer (November 2024 to mid-February 2025). 

As part of our team, you'll engage in a blend of project-driven tasks and daily operations within the digital domain. Under the mentorship of our Digital Technology Manager and Digital Engineer, you'll dive into projects that include but are not limited to:

• Evaluating our networking hardware to be refreshed.
• Identify requirements to connect unmanaged devices to factory wifi.
• Identify and implement new screen casting solution.
• Developing an Asset Management Dashboard in ServiceNow for streamlined operations.
• Create and implement a vulnerability remediation plan for Q1 2025.
• Configure and deploy new RFID readers.
• Other Digital Projects

Essential skills:

• Analytically driven, with a knack for problem-solving and a strong proficiency in MS Office.
• Foundational understanding of IT Services
• Self-motivated with an ability to navigate tasks independently while also being an innovative thinker.
• Results focused and able to communicate well with a broad range of internal and external customers.
