Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time RN to join our highly committed and dynamic Emergency Services team as we provide excellent quality care to over 65,000 patients of all ages annually.
What You'll Do:
As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patient acuities. You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers. Emergency Services, a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy, patient-centered environment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five
What's Available:
Part-time, 56 hours biweekly (0.7 FTE)
8-hour night shifts from 3p-11p, every other weekend and holiday
Starting pay of $37.08/hr and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials
Sign-on Bonus of $5,000 for those with a minimum of 1-year acute Emergency Department RN experience, $2,500 for all other acute RN experience. Sign-on Bonus paid after 6 months of employment at Gundersen Health System.
What You'll Need:
A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed minimally in the state of Wisconsin
Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
Prior acute RN experience preferred
