The Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for the achievement of Molecular sales goals for the CO/KS/NE/SD/MO/Southern IL (ideally based in St. Louis, Kansas City, or Denver) within the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Infectious Disease sales organization. Estimated to have 60% overnight travel. Position reports to the Regional Molecular Sales Director. This role will coordinate sales efforts between the Infectious Disease "ID" Hospital & POL field team to achieve molecular

. What You’ll Work On
- Ownership and achievement of Regional Molecular ID NOW sales goals, assigned MBOs and ID Abbott Rapid Diagnostics sales goals.
- Work with the AE’s to help develop & accelerate the sales process of molecular opportunities to meet regional targets.
- Develop regional Molecular support and training strategy
- Obtain certification within the Vendor Credentialing requirements by being in compliance with current immunizations, required training, background checks and competency assessments
- Provide strategic positioning for different types of molecular sales
- Involvement in training, both technical and sales
- Utilize sales metrics to document the sales process
- Standardization of sales tools
- Key account strategy
- Market share strategy
- Group purchasing strategy and integrated delivery networks
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in sales, marketing, business management or related coursework
- Minimum 5 years sales experience with documented history of success.
- Additional training in laboratory product sales and the diagnostics industry.
- 60% overnight travel.

The base pay for this position is
$72,700.00 – $145,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
