What you will do:
1.0 FTE, salaried role
Support nursing education, competency, and professional development for RNs, EMTs, and Paramedics who work in La Crosse Emergency Services
Responsible for system projects and programs, and will work closely with several great teams:
Emergency Services Leadership Team (Director, Manager, Supervisors, Clinical Nurse Leader, Quality and Department Chairs)
Emergency Services/Urgent Care Nursing Practice Subgroup (1 Clinical Nurse Leader, 2 other Professional Development Nurses and an Informatics Nurse)
A large group of 40+ Professional Development Nurses
Travel to other Gundersen locations as required
What you need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Master’s degree in Nursing required within 5 years
3-4 years RN experience or equivalent required, Emergency Nursing experience preferred
RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
Basic Life Support CPR for Health Care Providers
