What you will do:

• 1.0 FTE, salaried role

• Support nursing education, competency, and professional development for RNs, EMTs, and Paramedics who work in La Crosse Emergency Services

• Responsible for system projects and programs, and will work closely with several great teams:

  • Emergency Services Leadership Team (Director, Manager, Supervisors, Clinical Nurse Leader, Quality and Department Chairs)

  • Emergency Services/Urgent Care Nursing Practice Subgroup (1 Clinical Nurse Leader, 2 other Professional Development Nurses and an Informatics Nurse)

  • A large group of 40+ Professional Development Nurses

• Travel to other Gundersen locations as required

What you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

• Master’s degree in Nursing required within 5 years

• 3-4 years RN experience or equivalent required, Emergency Nursing experience preferred

• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire

• Basic Life Support CPR for Health Care Providers
