This internship position is located in South San Francisco, CA on-site.
The Opportunity
The candidate will learn about the state-of-the-art spray-drying technology.
As intern, you will be working closely with experts in the field and will be responsible for spray-drying and formulating small molecules and/or novel modalities as amorphous solid dispersions (ASD).
You will be responsible for the physical characterization of the ASD using different analytical instruments (e.g. dry particle size analyzer, dynamic light scattering, polarized light microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction)JOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEW
You will evaluate the performance of the ASD using in-vitro tools, including but not limited to e.g. in-vitro dissolution, and high-performance liquid chromatography.
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May and June 2025
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Final presentations of project work to senior leaders.
Lead or participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives.
Professional & personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions.
Participate in volunteer projects, social events, and team-building activities.
Who You Are (Required)
Required Education : You meet one of the following criteria:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
- Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).
- Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student).
Preferred Majors: Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related discipline.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently.
At least one year of research experience and lab skills are required.
Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $23-$45 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
