Enbridge Gas Ohio is looking for a creative, business minded Student Intern to work alongside a variety of business units in the Pipeline Operations/Data Analysis division. This business unit plays an important role in the company. Being a part of the Pipeline Operations team allows employees to collaborate with colleagues, improve processes and increase the use of technology, while supporting pipeline activities through innovative thinking and increased marketing efforts.

The internship will provide exposure to key areas of pipeline operations.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Be exposed to basic network operations including key business drivers such as pipeline safety and environmental compliance, customer management, employee safety measures, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Have the opportunity to participate in technical training classes along with craft employees.

  • Be assigned projects that will assess your ability to create power applications, analyze data, prepare reports and business presentations.

  • Learn about the business and develop creative and innovative ways that move the company from a traditional utility to a progressive innovative industry utility leader.

Who you are:

You are:

  • A student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.

    • Preferred concentrations in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Communications, Data Analysis or Engineering Technology.

    • Students should have an anticipated graduation date between May 2026 and May 2027.

    • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5

You have:

  • Excel Experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Interest in developing and creating ideas that would help advance and promote workforce development across various business units within the Pipeline Operations division

  • Interest in starting a career at Enbridge Gas Ohio by gaining experience and industry knowledge through interaction with a variety of business units

You can:

  • Work and collaborate with both internal and external customers to accomplish desired goals

  • Effectively work in a team environment

  • Work independently and problem solve issues with little or no direction

  • Write technical language

  • Implement and identify technological programs that would help business growth, increase efficiency, and help the company more forward 

  • Build and use Power Automate including Power Apps and Power BI

Working Conditions:

  • 90-100% Office Environment with potential for some field visits.

  • No overnight travel required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
