Purpose:
Real-World Analytics (RWA) and Real-World Data Mgmt. and Programming (RWDMP)
GSK’s RWDMP team partners closely with RWA and Value Evidence and Outcomes (VEO) team to support drug development and patient access. We are an in-house data and analytics team set up to provide insight into the patterns, burden, and occurrence of disease, cost and healthcare utilisation, and the safety and effectiveness and other outcomes of treatment. RWDMP provides analytic support for all phases of research in priority markets, with full analytic support for rapid analytics and in-sourced studies (data licensed by GSK) and consulting support for out-sourced studies. Our goal is to provide objective evidence of the value of our medicines through the analysis of electronic health records, administrative claims, patient registries and other observational health data sources, as well as post-hoc analysis of randomized clinical trial (RCT) data.
This newly formed team (RWDMP) will work closely with the RWA team to deliver a portfolio of research supporting the VEO team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works on simple RDQs and performs basic data interpretation using SAS programming and Real-world databases
- Acquires healthcare industry knowledge while working on RDQs learn from colleagues
- Develops understanding of applicable policies and procedures; executes assigned tasks with high quality, integrity, and attention to detail with supervision
- Understands specification document with supervision and ask right questions and plan programming around it
- Communicates effectively and precisely on regular projects updates, flags risks proactively, negotiates on reasonable timelines, presents study insights and outcomes
- Must embrace and be compliant to the defined GSK culture
- Should take accountability of their regular work
Expected Delivery:
- High quality deliverables adhering to timelines using their training in SAS programming and RWD
- Must adhere to SOPs like QC checklist, programming best practices, folder structure maintenance, error tracking etc.

Educational Background:
Minimum Level of Education
Master’s degree/ Bachelor of Technology in Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with applicable experience.
