We are looking for an Applied Research/ML Engineering Intern - Autonomous Driving. With the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world, intelligent, autonomous machines are no longer pure science fiction. NVIDIA is seeking an ML Engineering Intern to research and implement next generation algorithms and data-driven technologies, handling massive amounts of data in the AV data processing pipeline. Join us and help shape the future of AI.
What You'll Be Doing:
Research, implement and evaluate machine learning, image analysis, and data-driven algorithms to help with collecting, organizing, and mining massive amounts of unlabeled data.
Help with making your solutions available to users in production environments.
Gain hands-on experience with developing real-world ML pipelines for autonomous driving.
Interact and collaborate with global teams to reach your goals.
What We Need To See:
Pursuing a MS or PhD level education in Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence or related field.
You have a drive to tackle real-world software engineering problems and to design scalable large-scale systems.

Good mathematical understanding of common AI algorithms.
Strong Python programming experience with software design skills.
Self-motivation combined with team spirit and the urge to learn new things and solve hard problems.
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:
Experience in applying Deep Learning to computer vision and other AV problems.
Experience with large language models and vision language models and/or applying them for searching in data.
Publications at international relevant conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, ACL etc.).
