Position Summary
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination of the overall operations of an assigned unit(s) to include the provision of resources and an environment that facilitates optimal, cost-efficient patient care delivery. This position defines and monitors the standards of patient care and nursing practice, ensures availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources, supports collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. Major decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Clinical Director. This position requires extensive internal and external contacts. Internal contacts are with all levels of staff and management. External contacts include physicians, physician office staff, outside health care providers and organizations, vendors, and management from other health care facilities and agencies.Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
- Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
- Current license as a Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Current BLS Certification
- Five (5) years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function
- Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $153,130.00 - $212,576.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
