Under the direction of the Supervisor, this after-hours position will provide the appropriate response necessary, including both virtual and in-person, to address exigent placement needs, safety controls and crisis response needed after-hours for both the In Home Services and Ongoing Services programs.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) or equivalent (Sociology, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling or Guidance and Counseling) required.
- One year of experience in the delivery of educational training, employment services, vocational counseling, social services or related field preferred. Child welfare experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
- Social Work certification preferred.
- Requires a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, personal auto liability insurance coverage and the ability to be insured by the CHHS auto insurance carrier.
- Must use personal vehicle to transport children, complete in-house car seat transporter training within one month of hire and re-train biannually thereafter to maintain.
- Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
- You may need to respond in person - this is a part-time on-call position.
- The hours are - Monday-Friday: 5PM-10PM; 730PM-12AM; 1130PM-8AM.
- Saturday, Sunday and Weekday Holidays: 730AM-4PM; 330PM-12AM; 1130PM-8AM
- Eligible shift differential and on-call pay
