ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St Vincents Private Werribee - Medical & Surgical Ward on a fixed-term basis, covering maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment where patient care is our priority.
We are offering both full-time and part-time positions, fixed term until February 2026, to accommodate your availability. There may be an opportunity to extend beyond the fixed term due to ongoing expansion within the hospital. As part of our growing team, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality nursing care across a range of specialties.
About WARD 1:

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Registered Nurse, you are a master at delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the best outcomes for your patients.
Your skills will include:
Post-operative nursing experience, ensuring safe and effective care for patients recovering from surgery.
Orthopedic nursing experience, with expertise in managing musculoskeletal conditions and surgical interventions.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient care.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, helping you to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike.
Cardiac nursing experience (desired), with the ability to care for patients with heart conditions and post-cardiac procedures.
A commitment to continuous professional development, staying updated on the latest healthcare practices and innovations.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, ensuring patients' needs are met efficiently.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENT:
Must be willing to work a rotating roster of AM, PM, and ND shifts, ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of the department.
