2025 Summer Intern - gRED, Regev Lab (roche)
Job posting number: #163989 (Ref:202412-132261)
Job Description
2025 Summer Intern - gRED, Regev Lab
The Opportunity
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men. As resistance emerges in late-stage castration resistant prostate cancer, malignant cells often trans-differentiate from an epithelial to a neuroendocrine lineage. Treatment options for patients with neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC) are limited due to its aggressive nature and a rudimentary understanding of the disease. Novel immunotherapies have also been largely unsuccessful in NEPC patients. The Regev lab has engineered a mouse model that recapitulates all stages of the disease, with knock-in model neoantigens to allow neoantigen-dependent CD8 and CD4 T cell infiltration. Based on single cell and spatial transcriptomics data collected from this system, we would like to understand the mechanism by which tumor resident and infiltrating immune cells influence the trajectory of neuroendocrine differentiation.
