Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is looking for a Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our highly supportive and collaborative team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the inpatient setting at this location. You will initiate actions to improve nursing practice, patient care and unit processes to ensure our vision, “The best place to get care. The best place to give care.”

Shift Details: Saturday & Sunday 6:45 am to 7:15 pm

Responsibilities:   

• Perform wound care assessments 

• Demonstrate increasing discriminatory judgment in interpreting data and prioritize appropriately 

• Serve as a day-to-day resource to colleagues at unit and departmental levels 

• Collaborate with providers  

• Make Recommendations 

• Assist with quarterly surveys

This is position will require a lot of autonomy in your day-to-day work. Strong communication and ability to educate others is required to be successful in this position.
