JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Regional Intervention Program is a parent implemented professionally supported program for young children ages 2 to 6 years old and their families who are experiencing challenging behaviors. The program is available to families from 9 to 11 a.m., 3 to 5 p.m., and 4 to 6 p.m. CST, with a preference for availability from bachelor level applicant during the 4 to 6 pm program time.
- Fulfilling task assigned by field supervisor
- Performing clerical duties
- Job shadowing
- Snack time preparation
- Classroom assistance
- Parent classroom training
- Outreach
- All other duties as assigned to fulfill learning plan requirements
WORK SCHEDULE
- 20 hours per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Working hours are between 8 am and 6 p.m. CST, with a preference for availability from bachelor level applicant during the 4 to 6 p.m. program time. JOB IS FROM: nursingjobs.siteVIEW
- Internship fully on-site in Columbia, TN (Maury County)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree in public health, early childhood, social sciences, or related field
- Interest in gaining positive behavior management experience in supporting parents of young children
- Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work with observation data; detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
This is an unpaid internship.
