The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Intern role will make an impact:
Assist the UKRA team with efficiency and streamlining initiatives, including development of project trackers, creation of data collection tools and generation of reports
Update databases, systems and trackers with current information in-line with SOPs.
View Orignal JOB on: nursingjobs.siteRetain, store, and manage regulatory information in-line with departmental guidance to ensure effective and timely retrieval (electronic and paper).
Carry out administrative activities to aid the smooth running of the department
Develop an awareness of regulatory requirements (including legislation, guidelines, industry best practice, and liaison with Competent Authorities) and use this information to suggest potential improvements to departmental processes and procedures.
Assist the UKRA team with the preparation and compilation of regulatory submissions to the MHRA, including support for all associated administrative activities.
Support UKRA with submissions through the MHRA Portal
Prepare and submit simple applications in the UK according to agreed company procedures and objectives.
Keep the eMC website updated with approved SmPCs and PILs, in accordance with specified working processes.
Advise management of the status and progress of assigned duties identifying potential problems or delays, and possible solutions, as they occur.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote)
Ability to capture and analyse data from multiple sources and create meaningful reports
Logical and organised with a willingness to experiment and seek out innovative solutions
Previous experience of databases and document management systems is advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication
The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their second university degree year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a life sciences degree course, or recently completed a life sciences degree course.
