Unit Summary:
This short stay work environment will be fast paced with high intensity of services and deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. Patients in this 10 bed observation unit will be med surg tele and step down level of acuity with a less than 48 hour length of stay. This is a great opportunity for registered nurses with strong med surg, med surg tele and step down experience to make a difference for patients in the new Short Stay Unit.
Hours: 36 hours per week, Day Shift, 7A-7P, Every Third Weekend
Qualifications:
RN Massachusetts license required
BSN strongly preferred
Associate’s degree required
1-2 years Medical Surgical experience, telemetry experience strongly preferred
Must have excellent time management and communication skills
RN candidates must be able to use electronic based charting systems. Cerner experience is preferred.
BLS required and ACLS preferred
