At St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne, our experienced team of clinical professionals, care givers and support staff are equipped to provide the highest level of therapeutic, medical and surgical services. We work together to ensure patient safety, well-being and recovery. We are a not-for-profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee.
The Services available in our new private hospital will include orthopaedic, obstetrics, cardiology, ear nose and throat, plastic and reconstructive surgery, urology, gynaecology, general surgery, vascular, rehabilitation and oncology/infusions. Facilities will include operating theatres, a day procedure unit, oncology/infusion unit, a cardiac catheter laboratory and a rehabilitation gymnasium.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, this exciting opportunity is now available for Registered Nurses (Anaesthetic/PACU), to join our team on a full time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for;
- Planning and delivering the perioperative nursing care to patients
- Make decisions regarding perioperative patient care
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating perioperative patient care
It is essential that the successful applicant has the following;
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Specialist qualifications and/or experience (minimum 5 years) as appropriate to the area of work
- Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office products.
- Proficiency in email software and electronic communication.
- Willingness to undertake further studies or to pursue other self-development activities.
