Job Description
The Global Digital Acceleration interns/co-ops will be key team members supporting the development of digital strategies, plans, and training that leads to the successful adoption of transformational change across Manulife. Interns will contribute to the process of evolving our customer interactions into innovative, immersive, and highly functional digital experiences delivering high value.
Position Responsibilities:
Partner with colleagues across business lines, geographies, and teams to ensure strategic objectives achieve intended outcomes, through thoughtful analysis and clear presentation of results and recommendations.
Communicate our strategic priorities, both to internal and external stakeholders, in an impactful way, providing context, focus and inspiration.
Analyze key business priorities and bring insights to generate actions that create value for the company.
Support strategic decisioning via the thoughtful analysis and presentation of current state, strengths/challenges, industry/market trends and competitive research.
Seek opportunities to increase overall organizational efficiency, thorough developing and proposing net new and/or re-engineering existing processes.
Build and modify content for our Learning programs, monitor and measure progress and report on participation and success rates.
Execute on communication initiatives that are effective and relevant to our Digital Product Management community.
Develop and execute innovative and effective communications that are engaging, informative and relevant to the audience.
Proactively build relationships with stakeholders to create, edit, update and post compelling communications.
Support development & ongoing management of digital programs & global frameworks by doing market research of best practices in digital customer behaviour, business and technology capabilities, digital

Analyze internal data of customer behaviour and/or systems behaviour to find insights and prepare reports communicating the insights.
Develop scope & objectives for a program that describe industry leading practices and capabilities, and detail the scope with product/technology feature descriptions.
Build strategic narratives that communicate the link between customer need, customer action, digital behaviour, product feature and technology components.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic digital initiatives, as well as individual projects.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a master’s degree or undergraduate degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Science, Social Studies or related discipline.
General business level understanding of digital technologies, including web development, digital marketing, and software development.
Some knowledge of organizational transformation / change management and Agile methodologies is an asset.
Possess skills to communicate and take lead initiatives within a team.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.
Excellent communication and ability to implement tactics consistent with business objectives.

Salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
