The Business Excellence team includes Project Management, Operational Excellence, Training, & Data Analytics. Our team supports all other business functions at the site to deliver on key projects, embed continuous improvements in the organization, ensure compliant training, develop talent, & embrace digital solutions. Individual will support the business excellence function (PMO, training, operational excellence, & data analytics) including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Leading a training program initiatives (paper to electronic, training system enhancement, etc.)
- Support & attend Training huddle meetings, Tier Boards, & staff meetings as assigned
- Participate in Operational Excellence Gemba, 5S activities, & AGILE huddle meetings as assigned

Job Requirements:
- This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days in the Brooklyn Park, MN office per week.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science (preferred)
- SQL, Python, R or any other programming language
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with any level of data analysis, data querying, etc.
- Awareness of various front-end analytical tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sens
- Understanding of agile methodology and SDLC best practices
- Some industry awareness in Pharma in the Quality space.
- Experience and or interest in Data Science (familiarity with various ML libraries and practices)
- Highly reliable and a strong team player
- Flexible with an attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Internship Eligibility
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
- The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd)
- The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
- Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
- Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

Brooklyn Park, MNU.S. Hourly Wage Range:
$21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
