On the Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) team at Takeda, you’ll be part of a rapidly transforming industry that’s applying technology and data in new ways. Job Description:

The Manufacturing Sciences team is responsible for technology transfer and supporting the introduction of new processes and analytical methods to the Brooklyn Park site. Through this internship you will gain hands-on experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, expand your professional network, and develop a deeper understanding of how we serve our patients. This role is designed to challenge you and be influential to your future career.

What Past Manufacturing Sciences Internships Have Looked Like:

  • Implement and design process yield improvements, validation of process changes, qualification of materials to be used in manufacturing, data analytics to improve process predictability
  • Green belt training, database management, determine which device is best used within manufacturing processes.


 

Internship Development Opportunities:

  • Assigned peer mentor to help introduce you to Takeda's culture and values
  • Participate in professional development and networking events (I.e., National intern day celebrations, resume workshops, coffee chats with senior leaders at the site, etc.)
  • Work in cross function teams and collaborate with seasoned professionals
  • Exposure to Takeda's technologies, products, and global environment

Job Requirements:

  • This position will be Fully Onsite and require 4+ days in the Brooklyn Park, MN office per week.
  • Must be pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor's, or Master’s degree in a hard science or engineering discipline
  • Basic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)
  • Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gathering
  • Highly reliable and a strong team player
  • Flexible with an attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd)
    • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
  • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

We understand compensation may bean important factor as you consider an internship opportunity. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

 

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include: 

  •  Paid sick time

  • Access to on-site fitness center (where available) 

  • Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
