A Brief Overview
This expert, patient-focused team helps care for healthy term newborns, mother baby couplets, high-risk antepartum, and gynecology patients through offering support and comfort throughout their stay. Our Labor and Delivery team specifically helps the birthing person every step of the labor, delivery, recovery, and post-partum process. The Birthplace has electronic fetal monitoring equipment with central display for easy, constant observation. An operating suite for Cesarean sections is just a few steps away. Our patients receive care from a compassionate and highly skilled nursing and interdisciplinary team in a fast paced environment. We strive to make each birth a special experience for our families as they have been preparing for this event for many long months.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelors of Science: Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Skills and Abilities

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. (Required proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications
- Registered Nurse - KSBN A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted. Required
- Basic Life Support - BLS RQI, CPR or ACLS certifications may be required in lieu of or in addition to BLS depending on department. Must have within 90 days of hire.
