Under the direction of designated staff, provides assistance to the department in various aspects to support the work of the department and the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Provides assistance on various projects within hired department.Education Qualifications:
Summer Health Care Internship Program (SHCIP)
- Must have completed your junior or senior year of high school in Minnesota and intend to complete graduation requirements
- OR
- Must be a post-secondary student enrolled in a Minnesota educational institution or be a resident of Minnesota enrolled in an out-of-state program
- Post-secondary students must be enrolled in a two or four year health care degree program with the intention of completing the program.

- Be involved in high - level meeting planning and facilitation
- Collaborate with Essentia Health leadership members
- Work on a 3 - month long project
- Shadow different departments of interest
- Learn about hospital and clinic operations
- Position is based in Moose Lake but will have the opportunity to visit other clinics and sites
