Job Description

Your role:

Invesco Mortgage Capital, Inc. is a publicly held mortgage real estate investment trust (REIT) that trades on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: IVR). The Company is primarily focused on investing in, financing and managing mortgage-backed securities and other mortgage-related assets. IVR is externally managed by Invesco Advisors.

This position reports to IVR’s Controller and has primary responsibility of supporting various financial reporting and operational finance functions of IVR.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist in preparation of SEC filings including 10-Q’s, 10-K’s and 8-K’s

  • Assist in preparation of materials for quarterly SEC disclosure review committee meetings

  • Assist in preparation of SOX controls and compliance, including coordinating with control owners and providing deliverables

  • Support the preparation of monthly expense reimbursement summary

  • Monitor and reconcile daily share transactions

  • Assist with internal and external audits

  • Prepare internal and external wire transfers

  • Prepare ad hoc requests as necessary to support senior management’s decision making.

Experience you bring:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree graduating between December 2025 and Summer 2026 with a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
