Responsibilities
- Designs portions of the industrial design for physical hardware products
- Applies understanding of basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope, and ensures compliance with existing standards and processes.
- Participates in design projects from early concept through sketches, prototyping, rendering visualization, rendering animations to show the concepts
- Explores, develops, and refines design concepts based on market analysis, user research, and new technology.
- Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on industrial design and development.
- Participates as a member of project team of other industrial designers and development partners to develop holistic, high-quality design solutions for low to moderately complex projects and products.
- Works collaboratively with other departments to understand and integrate functional requirements into designs.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design , or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in industrial design and development of physical hardware products and systems, or a related field.
- Fluent communication in English is a plus.
