We are seeking a psychiatric outpatient clinical Nurse Practitioner to work under the supervision and in collaboration with a WashU Psychiatrist. At WashU, you’ll be a critical part of our clinical team, serving the mental healthcare needs of our clients. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct outpatient psychiatric care to patients.
- Focus on clinical care of patients with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for assigned patients.
- Prescribe and monitor medication.
- Provide referrals for additional treatment needs.
- Provide psychotherapy as needed.
- Document, monitor, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of patient medical records. Maintain all required reports, record, statistics, etc.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients/families in accordance with established clinic/hospital standards.
- Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.

$86,300.00 - $155,500.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
